I have been a part of The Brighton Race team since 1995. My daughter Lindsey started racing at Brighton at age 6 and continued on until age 14. I enjoy coaching young athletes and watching their progress during the year. Brighton is a great resort with lots of great skiing. I look forward to seeing you up on the mountain for another fantastic race season

 

Becky Stone , Team Administrator

I have been involved in ski racing since 1984. I grew up in Michigan, racing in Central Division-USSA and training with Hurricane Race Team. I was ranked in the top ten in the division, and competed in F.I.S. races both in the Central and Eastern Divisions of USSA, and Canada.

I decided to attend the University of Utah, and started teaching skiing when I didn't have enough time to continue racing. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science. I have been teaching and coaching for over 14 years now, and am currently a P.S.I.A. Level 2 instructor (with a Level 2 Children's Educator Specialty), a Club Level coach with U.S.S.C.A. I've coached with the Brighton team from 1995-1998, then went to the Jr. Rowmark team from 1999-2001, and then I came back to the Brighton team in 2002.

John Milano , Board President

I have been involved with the team since the beginning. I helped move the team from the Brighton Ski School to a volunteer run team where parents were actively involved in the day to day functions of the team. I am excited to see the team grow and look forward to seeing parents on the hill.

 

Garrett Wilson , Board Secretary

I have been with the Brighton Ski Team since 2001 and have been a Board Member since 2003. It was my two kids, Andrew and Laura, that got me involved in ski racing. I learned to ski in New Hampshire and Vermont where icy, cold conditions prevail. I moved West to Idaho in 1984 and skied Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole. I've been living in Utah since 1990 and there is nothing like skiing the Wasatch Mountains. I also rock climb, do slot canyons and explore the Utah deserts.

I have been with the team for the past four years. I love seeing my daughter, Sammie, develop as an athlete and I also love the powder at Brighton. Let's make some turns!
